Quality
Quality you can check
We measure quality by international ISO methods. Here is what we test, how, and what each result means for the garment.

What we test
Each property is measured by the ISO method listed. The lab should confirm which methods it runs in-house, or name the accredited lab that runs them.
| Property | Method | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Mass per unit area | ISO 3801 | Weight per square metre, the base of every specification. |
| Breaking force | ISO 13934-1 | Strength along warp and weft, in newtons: how the cloth takes stress at seams. |
| Abrasion resistance | ISO 12947-2 (Martindale) | Cycles until the cloth wears through: how long elbows, knees and seats last. |
| Pilling | ISO 12945-2 (Martindale) | A grade from 1 to 5: whether the surface stays clean in wear. |
| Dimensional change | ISO 5077 with ISO 6330 | Change in warp and weft after washing, in %: whether a garment keeps its fit. |
| Colour fastness | ISO 105 (B02, C06, X12, E04) | Grey-scale grades for light, washing, rubbing and perspiration. |
How we keep it consistent
Checked at every stage
Yarn, colour and cloth are checked before they move to the next stage.
Traceable bolts
Every bolt carries a ticket with article, colour, composition and weight.
Reference samples
We keep reference samples of each colour so reorders match. Retention period: to be confirmed.
Results with swatches
Test results travel with the swatches you request.
Documents
Test reports by ISO methods: testing laboratory and its ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation to be confirmed.
Each article has a spec sheet you can download from its page in the catalogue.
